About the Symphony Club of Waterford
The Symphony Club of Waterford was founded in 1988. In previous years we have had the pleasure of inviting the Dublin Orchestral Players, the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland (NYOI) the Wexford Sinfonia, the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the European Union Chamber Orchestra and the The Royal Irish Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra.
Our 24th Season of Concerts
We are delighted to have the NYOI back again with Mozart's wonderful double concerto for flute and harp.
The IBO's performance of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater under Monica Huggett promises another musical highlight for 2012.
Later in the year the RTE CO will make a welcome return at a new venue for SCOW - the Theatre Royal.
SCOW Membership
The Club is open to new members all year round and a reduced rate of membership is available if you join mid-season.
Please note that the concerts are open to all and you do not have to be a member to attend.
For most events you can pay on the door, but it is advisable to purchase your tickets in advance if possible.
The current box office number is 051-855038 at Garter Lane Arts Centre, 22a O’Connell Street, Waterford.
